At the 15th annual ALB Japan Law Awards, Asian Legal Business named Davis Polk the “International Deal Firm of the Year.” These awards pay tribute to the outstanding performance of private practitioners and in-house teams in Japan and around the region.

Davis Polk won “M&A Deal of the Year (Premium)” for its role advising Shire on its acquisition by Takeda. The firm was also honored to receive the “Equity Market Deal of the Year” award and the “TMT Deal of the Year” award for its role in SoftBank Corp.’s initial public offering.

The awards were presented on June 13, 2019, in Tokyo.
