Matt practices in the Antitrust & Competition group, with a focus on U.K. and EU competition law and foreign direct investment screening. He has experience across a broad range of complex behavioural and regulatory matters, representing clients in cases before the European Commission and the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, and developing strategies for obtaining transaction clearances across international jurisdictions. He has also previously advised clients in relation to proceedings before the European Courts, the U.K. Competition Appeal Tribunal, and the U.K. High Court.

Matt has extensive experience advising clients active in numerous sectors, including consumer goods, agrochemicals, aviation, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, automotive, media, healthcare, industrials and specialty chemicals.
